Silver bangels
A silver bangle is an article of hardened jewelry that
is worn around a person’s wrist. Bangles are most often manufactured
out of one continuous piece of sterling silver and come in a variety
of sizes to suit various wrist dimensions. Bangles can come with or
without a clasping mechanism.
The bracelet or bangle has a long history in ancient cultures. The
term “bracelet” is from the Latin ‘brachile,’
meaning “of the arm.” Silver bangles have been worn by nobility
and royalty for centuries and it is only in the modern day that the
general public has had access to such accessories.
Unlike silver chains, which are a combination of links, silver bangles
are one continuos piece of metal that lies rigid against the skin. They
can be of a simple, plain design, or can be accompanied by charms and
pendants.
